Warsaw, Virginia – Hillary Pugh Kent, candidate for the Virginia House of Delegates District 67, proudly announces a special initiative to pay tribute to the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our nation as we approach Memorial Day. As part of this initiative, Kent presented the local little leagues with United States flags that have been flown over the U.S. Capitol Building.
In expressing her commitment to this initiative, Hillary Pugh Kent stated, "Memorial Day is an opportunity for all Americans to remember the tremendous sacrifices made by our military personnel, as well as their families. It is crucial that we pass down the values of selflessness, duty, and love for our country to future generations."
Kent understands the vital role that little leagues play in supporting our youth and fostering community spirit. Through this gesture, she hopes to reinforce the significance of Memorial Day as a time to reflect on the sacrifices made by our military heroes.
