Warsaw, Virginia – Today, Republican candidate Hillary Pugh Kent announced her campaign raised over $40,000 in the first 6 days of her bid for Virginia's 67th House of Delegates District, following the retirement announcement of current Delegate Margaret Ransone.
"Since announcing my candidacy, I've been overwhelmed, honored, and blessed by the outpouring of support and encouragement we have received," said Kent. "It is truly humbling to have the opportunity to represent my hometown in the House of Delegates and work towards commonsense conservative results for Virginia's families."
In addition to raising an impressive sum in a few short days as a first-time candidate, Kent has proudly announced the endorsement of Richmond County Sheriff Steve Smith, with additional endorsements set to be released in the coming days and weeks.
"I am excited about traveling around the district, connecting with friends both old and new, and discussing one-on-one the unique issues that impact our region. From Sharps to Dahlgren, and Sparta to Fleeton, each community uniquely makes up this great area where we live, and I am committed to putting in the work to earn the support of voters throughout the 67th district."
